while listening boringly to speakers from the wto, i looked at the orange wristband that i am wearing. it is a wristband sold to those who wish to pay respect to the thai king and wish him a long life. on the wristband, it says 'long live the king'.

But i wonder what the king does really think about it. i read in one of the many forwarded emails about him that he said he prefers a 'wide' life than a long one.
